The Fairlite awning has a cascading waterfall design with greater resistance to wind, snow and rain. You will never replace a Fairlite Aluminum Awning because of wear, today's finishes are more resistant to fading and staiing than ever before.
There are 6 types of Fairlite awnings, the doorhood as 2 designs, the FL and the FC. The Window awnings are FM and FH and ADJ and FDW.
The Doorhood designs for FL and FC give you the right coverage for your door, the FL has a smaller drop for doors with less clearance above the door to your soffitt. The FC has a greater slope for those with larger clearance above the door. Both doorhoods can be used for picture windows especially those with crank out windows to give you the projection clearance you need to open the windows.
The window awnings FM and FH The difference between the two types of awnings are the wall height and the point drop. FH awnings have longer wall height shorter projection and quicker point drop to accommodate for west facing or south facing windows as well as bedroom or bathroom windows.
The ADJ Fairlite awning can be used for door or window applications. This awning does not have any end wings on the awning but braces that secure the awning. The FDW awning has the same top as the Fairlite awnings with a smaller end wing for those applications, where a smaller wall height and look is needed.

Let' s talk about pricing. The awnings we manufacture are heavier gauge of aluminum then big box stores. They are manufactured here in Iowa. Pricing of course varies with sizes and type of awning. Here are a few examples:
Aluminum Door Hood: As in the above pic $539.33 plus tax and installation. Solid colors other than White is an additional 15%. Installation starts at $145-$215 (Local) and increases based on the complexity of the installation and the location.
Window Awnings: Such as the above pic. $374.62 plus tax and installation. Solid colors other than White is an additional cost of 15%. Installation starts at $145-$215 (local) and increases based on the complexity of the installation and the physical location of the awning on the structure and the location of the structure. Additional awnings pricing will vary by time and complexity.
